Walking down the central aisle, you will come to the crossing at the centre of the building. As you face the altar the north and south transepts are to your left and right respectively. From this point you can appreciate the cruciform shape of the church and, looking upwards, you will see the lantern tower, approximately 100 feet in height. At its centre is a replica of the Order of the Garter.

The pulpit was presented by the parishioners of Whippingham in memory of Queen Victoria. The five panels depict the Beatitudes (Matthew chapter 5) and were cast in plaster before being cupronised (coated with copper).
